Getting Level 38

Is there anyway to modify the game so I can reach level 38 extremely quickly? I got this mod that has all these new cap ships and a few added ones, but I need level 38 to buy them. I was thinking their might be a way to modify the first story mission so that it gives me a huge level bonus at completion. I wouldn't really know because my moding skills are nonexistant, I was just speculating. Can it be done? I just wanna fool around with this mod. Can it be done? Thank you.

You're thinking too complex. The solution is actually quite simple by comarison-
instead of changing the levels gained by missions, just change the requirements for the ships!

In Data/Equipment/MarketShips.ini, you will find blocks for each station that carries ships. Scroll down to the one where the ships you are looking for are located(Usually Li01_01_base). Undreneath that you will find a buch of lines that look like this

marketgood = coe2_package, 32, -1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1

All you have to do to get the ships that you want is change the first number(in the example, 32) to 1. That way, you can get the ships that you want at any level.

or you change the level requirements ... i added more level as it was just dull to stay 38 all the time ...
the file is: ptough.ini or something like that ...

Poet I tried adding more ranks as well but I can't seem to get FL to show more then Rank 40...Did you find any work around ?
