Using bigger ships in Random Missions

I was trying to get Battleships loading for random missions... But the only thing i was succesful at was making a level 1 mission worth nearly 1 million credits :p The problem I was running into is this - I think the way the battleships are declared in the files, they are designed to be used only as a 'destroy the installation' type mission. They are declared as a Solar which, from what i've been able to gather, means they are only useable as an installation. I've been trying to figure out the structure of the random mission tree in i forget which file (at work, don't have it before me...) hoping that i could find where it adds in the ship groups and installations, but i haven't had luck with it yet. Has anyone made a utility to break down that ugly tree thingie and put it in a managable (ie - graphical) form yet? I'm great with the non-visual programming elements, but i suck when it comes to representing stuff visually... If no one's done it, I might give it a try when I get back to my dorm...

It might even be possible to set it up so these battleships or gun boats are useable in a 'kill all enemy fighters' type mission, but again, you'd have to hack that .ini file (i wanna say vignettesomething.ini)

Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

are you sure you're adding the mobile battleships? the game declares them differently.

try to remember what walkers ship was... and try including that.

Yeah, that battleship that blocks off a trade lane when Trent and Juni become wanted criminals and try to make their escape from Manhattan is definately not a solar.

How are the 'large stations' and 'weapon platforms' declared in the random missions?

They're defined in RANDOMMISSIONS/killablesolars.ini
