What do you edit .ini''s with?

I'm interested in modding my server a bit, ships, starting money and the like. But when I open my .ini's they are...well, giberish. I'm seeing people copy and paste their ini's but its clear and labeled. What are you using to open them? Thanks much

just textpad... You need to decompress them to make them readable... you can download bini from the site...

This is the third topic I have seen on this (fourth if you include a topic about compressing) in a day, could we get a sticky about this by any chance?
