Number of Guns on a ship
I'm trying to create what i call a "Super frieghter" for the Rhineland, based off of the old U-boat designs from world war II. however, i find that to cover the ships' 360* fireing archs, i need more than 7 guns.
The current load out is one missle launcher (Forward fireing for accuracte portrayal of teh submarine), one torpedo launcher (same as missle launcher), two turrets on the side of teh conning tower, 4 on teh sides, and one on forward deck, and one on the back. I think i can forgo mine, but Countermeasures you'll probably need. this is a current total of 10 guns, 11 if you count the counter measure launcher.
is the game hardcoded to have only a certain number of mountable weapons? is ther any way to hardcode turrets so they are always there, and always fire, but not selectable or changeable? (this would make 9 guns changeable, and not appear in teh weapon selector on teh HUD)
