Thnx for the replies! I've made some tries on my own and I finally manage to import/export my meshes in 3ds format,it works fine! It also works with good results exporting from 3dsMAX (for some ppl asking about it). During this process I have encounter a strange problem: some meshes that "seems" to be collapsed to one single object after the export to .3ds format were somewhat broken. Imagine a spaceship with its parts (wing,thrusters,etc.) floating aroung the main body of the ship. Have you ever experience something like it? And another question about the MShape. Some times when I tried to import too detailed objects I got an error message about that there too many polygons/vertex and the object doesnt show up. Is there an upper limit about those in MShape?Or any way to bypass that?(I'm using the demo version of MShape but this doesnt seem to be the prob)(I also have to hurry to import those B5 ships before it expires!hehehe). yeah, that's right. Milkshape has a poly limit and I have no idea whenever or not it is possbile to shut this damn thing off. This means, that my plans to bring some really cool models into the game will not work...alas.
Well, perhaps HCL will supply a plug-in for a better program
