Okay I've edited the file after it has been decompressed. The problem now is how the hell do I get rid of the .txt bit?

I've tried renaming the file but to no avail. the file remains,

XXXX.ini.txt


How do I make it into an ini file instead of a .txt file

DUH! Never mind. I didn't realize I had the hide extension checked off...
