@flybyu I will email you with the details.

There are three main reasons why volunteers never last:
1) They didn't realize what kind of work they were signing up for (and they generally aren't polite enough to let you know that they are quitting).

2) They lack the commitment to make this a priority in their life (doesn't have to be a high priority, but it needs to be more important than watching movies, playing video games, or anything else nonproductive).

3) More important life issues come up that take priority.

And Chips, the recent massive forum layout changes were only possible because of my awesome ASP coding skills. Over the last two weeks I've fixed many major problems with the current forum software.

I was under the impression this was a forum software developed by some company for free (originally) - and therefore there should be newer versions (were newer versions) vailable to install? (hopefully with upgrade scripts to make transitions easier).

Or was it a one off thing and I'm thinking of something else that Eraser showed me? (like potential replacement).

I believe the software we were looking at was a newer version of the current one. Unfortunately, the one we are using is so archaic that there is no way to properly import it into anything else, and this was why Bargib spent so much time creating a converter. The problem is just grabbing the new software, installing it, getting someone to import the old data into the new software, fixing any problems with the database, and then switching over. We had hoped that Akataka could do this but I haven't heard from him in a while.

I don’t think it was lame it has been going around the web and I had people telling me this and others asking about it. You can’t say you had not heard the talk. So I was the one willing to ask instead of continue wondering and adding to the rumors.

It's better to know then to wonder don't you think CV?
