Is the mission editor ever gonna exist?!?

Because personally i think FL is a load of *rude word*. I wud rather see SL get back into swing again. The graphics were better (at least certain effects and ships) and the gameplay was more interesting. So cud someone please tell me wtf is going on? has the ed been scrapped. or is it still in that annoying limbo stage?!?!?

I refuse to move on. ive waited 4 ****ing years for that thing!!!!

Im going insane because of it (actually thats a lie) but i refuse to give up until i hear the official message saying it has been canned.
