freeworlds mod

Evening / morning chaps n chapesses ... I have freeworlds 1.66 mod downloaded and installed ok open sp same no problems there and I'm running flmm ver 1.31, I start the game it loads ok then I find myself dumped in the back of nowhere in a little starflier? (been so long since I've flown a ship that small) with NO thruster or weps, find a job it says ,I can't even move and when I went to inventory just to see what I had it spits me out and freezes my pc which by the way is up to spec .i have run many mods before with no problems in fact I've just finished crossfire Can anyone shed light on this dark and dismal corner of my universe I would be soooooooo pleased

Its not a single player compatible mod.

greetings from bilingi 2 thanks for that info I've just removed the op mod from the mm folder and its let me in .......... wahey smoke me a kipper ..... ;-)

Actually, your problem there was that you installed an Open SP mod with the Freeworlds 1.66. Freeworlds 1.66 and later already has an Open SP built into it (though albiet, Freeworlds was designed with MP in mind rather than SP, so some things don't quite work out right in SP mode), so you don't need to install an Open SP at all. To run Open SP, just activate Freeworlds, load Freelancer and click new game.
