I''m here, now what?
I played FL a couple of years ago for about 6 months, and I'm just picking it up again.
I might try some modding, so I found this site in a search.
Hope to be able to find what I need in one spot, and so far it's going well.
I downloaded a bunch of the tools and tutorials, so I'll be a few days reading over that stuff before I actually start doing anything.
I posted a problem I'm having in the hardware thread, so if anyone would care to take a look, I'd appreciate the help.
Love the game, and like what I've seen of the forums so far.
Hope to talk to a lot of you in future days, on this forum. I might even be able to contribute once I figure out what's what.
As far as my personal info goes, I'm 54 years old, disabled Nam Vet, who builds computers for a hobby.
I've done a bit of programming, although it's been many years ago. Worked in BASIC and PASCAL mostly.
I see a lot of this is C++ and XML, so I'll be learning as I go, but it shouldn't take me too long to catch on. I hope!!!! I have a copy of MS C++ v6.0 that I picked up second hand, so I guess I'll install it and start reading.
