K8N4-E Deluxe Backplate

Well ****, is it possible to rip off the backplate of the K8n4-E Deluxe with out damaging the board its self. Just wondering because I got an Aquagate mini for Christmas, the AGM comes with its own backplate, and requires it to be used, because the generic POS that the motherboard come with extrudes through the motherboard to form to standard air coolers, when I try to mount it on, there is a 1cm gap between the water block, and the processor.

(please ignore the -'s)
____________
/-----------------/
/------AGM----/
/___________/
__/ \_______/ \__
/ / ___CPU___ / /

Motherboard backplate: __/----/___
AGM needs: ___----___

So I was wondering if the motherboard's backplate is removable.

And thank you for any answers you can provide.

EDIT: Thank you anyway, I have found my answer in the asus forums. It seems that the backplate is glued on, and can be pried off with a simple tool, my hand, but takes time. Anyway thank you to those who at least considered posting or helping me. Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays.

use a hair-dryer, it's just hot-melt glue, you'll take ages prising it off by hand. I did one a few weeks ago.

Incidentally hair-dryers are also usefulk for getting heatsinks off processors when the heatsink gwag has hardened.
