cant add loot to ship!

hello from christina .. havent been around for afew weeks ... stupid thing called w...w..w..work..

being new to free lancer ... i have aproblem... that is not in the manual

after blasting some pirates I,m left to pick up the 'loot' ..
when i check what is in my cargo hold .. i find a few "nice" weapons..
I have the space and skill level to " attach" - "dock" then to the empty slots..
but dont know how to do it..
i have to sell then and buy them back at a loss

so is there a way to attach loot objects to my ship>

You have to be docked at a base or planet to dock weapons onto free slots also each ship has a max lvl for weapons (eg a dagger has a max weapon lvl of 4 i cant have weapons above that lvl)

I had trouble with this too.
There is a small square icon in the top left corner of the weapon pic, click it to mount or unmount weapons. As stated before this must be done while docked.

Enjoy a great game, and ask anything if you need help. There are lots of game features not mentioned in the manual, like being able to target individual ship components.

thanks every one for the replies ... YEt... evan docked at stations and bases..
ANd clicking on 'undocked' objects... I still cant get them to dock... is there a key i have to press at the same time?...
and ho do you target bits of ships?...

Weps and shields have levels that must match the slots. Level 8 won't work on level 5 and soforth.
