Changing the color of thetargeting hud

Is there any way to change the color of the targeting hud? I'm partially colorblind and find it really hard to follow the red crosshair.

i don't think so. however, it may be possible to mod that change. any suggestions there?

You don't even have to be colour blind for it to be a problem. In some systems it strains your eyes to see it against the background.
