You could try pressing "F8". That should bring up your status box. In the Status box it says "Current worth", "Current level" and "Next Level Requirement".

Check the next level requirement and see how much credits it says. You need that many credits to advance to the next job.

OR, you could just go some good wrecks and loot them. Tractor in all the stuff and if you get some good stuff, you should level up pretty quickly.

If all that fails, then your FL may be a bit screwed.

Have you been to New London ship dealer? I don't think it was a definate requirement, but she does tell you to do it when you first get to Leeds...

Hehe .. Oops. Yah, just looked at the logs. Went to New London, got to level 9 and now she contacted me. Thank you.

BTW: London area is pretty frantic, full of pirates. :-O

Juni is pretty hot though, hope Trent hooks up with her.

You can let Juni wait, if you want to. She won't get upset. Roam around and explore systems, hunt for wrecks, mine for whatever is there etc. No need to rush through the game. That is one nice feature about it.

Just one word of advice. Don't stray too far into dangerous systems when you are at a low level. I once roamed into the Border Worlds and immediately got jumped by Corsairs in level 10 ships when I was flying a Crusader with level 4 shields. Had to scramble back through the jump hole in panic to get out alive.
