Cockpits

I know many people will laugh if they see this bbut is there anyway you can get to see through your ship cockpit cause it tried loads of stuff and i just can't seem to be able to get into it, and there are loads of screenshots taken from inside a cockpit....

please help

it's an Option, just check the box

Ctrl+V switches you to cockpit view.

Cockpit view is the best way to fly, at least if you are used to simulations. I can't stand the "water skier view" myself. Also, if you just press "V" when you are flying, you can see what's behind you. Great for using your turret on attackers when you are waiting for the *#@@ trade lane to let you in!
