A huge thank you to this community

Hello.

I bought Freelancer three weeks after it was released. I played through the first few missions and then got side tracked by many other games. I'm an avid gamer and have a huge collection, unfortunately I don't have the time to play them all. I just recently reinstalled this game and began playing through the missions and story. This is by far the best space sim game I've come across. Even after three years the game is still very innovative. I got currious and decided to see if there had been any further developments to the game either through the original devolpers or mods by a community. To my surprise I found this site. I never had any idea there was such a huge community interest in this game, or support for such a community. So I would just like to say thank you to the dedicated devs, and the community as a whole, for keeping such an awesome game alive and giving it endless (and I mean that in no small sense of the word) replay value. There are only a handfull of games that have ever enjoyed this kind of support from the community, and I'm pleased this is one of them. When I first saw the downloads pages for this site I sat there in a stunned state looking at page after page of patches and mods, I've downloaded a few and the quality of most is astounding. So to all those who have put in the hard work and countless hours. A fan would like to thank you from the bottom of his heart.
