missions

I have to start the game again due to my son deleting my game saves.
Do u need to take the missions again, or can u just go your own way.
My first post so go easy on me.
PS the best game since ELITE

Welcome to TLR.

If you want, you can download FLMM which is freelancer mod manager and install it. Then download Chip's open Sp mod that does away with the stories.

PS. I meant to put this in my first post,is there a way to save your games other than from within the game itself,ie,savegame.file?

If you mean can you make a copy of your saved games then yes you can.
They are located in:
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\My Documents\My Games\Freelancer\Accts
Multiplayer
and
Singleplayer
folders

We got folk here from the 10 year range alll the way into the 50's, 45 myself, all loveing games and gaming and having a hoot here at TLR.
