Is there an easier way to remove level requirements?

I'm trying to make the single player story less linear in terms of what ships you can buy. I've removed the level caps on the ships but the market_goods.ini file is just too large; it would take me days to do it all. Is there an easy way to remove level caps?

Thanks

It is, if you know how to handle the filters of an Excel like application, the search and replace function of WIndows' Notepad and the search & replace of a hex editor of your choice. Took me 4mins to do it all.

Alternatively, you can download my stripped-of-all-the-level-requirements version here

Oh, and it's not just the level requirements I removed, the reputation requirements are gone, too.

The easiest way to do this, imho, is to use find-and-replace... or... uh... just go get my XML Toolkit Mod, 1.3, where everything has been put down to Level One for you

Fantastic! I just downloaded your file preacher, just what I was after.

Cheers.

err... well it would be if I could open it. Invalid zip?

Have you renamed it to "whatever".zip? Because it's currently labeled "Argh_XML_Toolkit_Mod12.zip.flmod", so if you want to unzip it, as opposed to installing it with the Freelancer Mod Manager (which is what everybody uses to distribute their mods)... you need to change the file extension...

Works fine with WinRAR. Anyways, here's the uncompressed file.
