using a mod

I downloaded the Akira/Thunderchild mod by Archedyne but I can't get it to work. Is there something I need to know or is it just me? Any help would be appreciated.

Just downloaded it myself. Doubled clicked on it and it installed iteself in FLMM. Haven't activated it yet, still got anotherrunning at the moment.

I just tried it. It has scripting errors in the sounds, and it's referring to a bad Archetype somewhere- I got CTD every time I fired this up. I'd fix it, but I really couldn't care less about Star Trek stuff... I'll write a (polite and gentle) email to Akira about this, because I have a sneaking feeling that he didn't test this very thoroughly...
