New server needing new mod

I recently decided to start hosting a freelancer server shortly after buying my new computer and seeing how fast it is. I have a little experience in creating a mod but not nearly enough to do it completely alone. I'm looking to put together a team to create a brand new mod that will specialize in more long lasting gameplay. Even with the best stuff, I want some missions to really challenge you but not be impossible to finish...ect

The mod will hopefully include:
-rebalance of all buying/selling prices for trading
-harder and possibly smarter npcs
-some random "ooooh & ahhh" stuff for admins only
-new missions with VERY hard battleships & stations (for long lasting missions ment for groups)
-wide selection of new guns and equips rather then a certain set being the "best"
-redesign of any and all systems (i'm already working on this)
-possible creation of a few new systems (hidden)
-more use of nomad area (missions, stuff to buy, maybe a nomad homeworld)
-new ships throughout Sirius (all with good/bad points)
-random "pretty good" equips for rewards to good players
-cheat detection and punishment ( i hate cheaters >_< )
-anything else the team has ideas about.

I currently have a few people saying they can help but I'm looking for some hardcore coders that are willing to really show off. I also own paid hosting space that we can use for easier handling of the files. I can also put together a full website for our new mod. We will have plenty of bandwidth for downloads too. (at around 1.5MB/s speeds too)

-2,500 GB Data Transfer
-300 Sub Domains
-5000 email accounts


EDIT: By the way I have a ship design in mind that I would LOVE to see in action if anybody is a ship modeler.

You can't tell me there arn't any experienced moders wanting to make a new mod but lack a good dedicated server host...

obviously most mods already have a good server

if you want to host a mod then how about hosting a mod which is still in development... i have such a mod... is an unfinished version of the blaster universe
blaster stopped working on it and i want to continue it as soon i have more time (soon) and turn it into one of those big mods

Although I'm currently hosting the discovery mod just to keep the players coming, I do want to host a new mod sometime. Alot of mods coming out nowadays are just random addons which make no since. The reason I want to start a new mod is to add alot but keep the balance of the freelancer origional setup.

EXAMPLE: When you get into the millions of credits and finally are able to land on crete or get into the unknown sectors and survive, WTF is the point of finding some new light fighters in that area!? Shouldn't all light fighters be near the beginning of the game and only heavy and very heavy fighters tword the end? Thats like getting to the end of an RPG and starting to find some level 1 enemies... Kinda disappointing...


In most cases, a dedicated server is the hardest thing to find so I just assumed there were lots of modders looking for a fresh new dedicated server all to themselves to start a brand new mod and maybe show off a bit.

*bump* we are seriously looking into this now that my server has been testing the discovery mod. The server is showing blazing speeds and now all we need is a custom mod! We really need a dedicated team if anybody wishes to sign up.

Well, I have been looking for someone to beta test my mod or host it for awhile now, I could never find someone willing to stick with my crazy coding and changes everyday. My new release is working on group play.
So far on your list my mod would have

-rebalance of all buying/selling prices for trading (I haven't really gotten into trading til my second part release. However there are good trading routes in the mod and I ran most of them myself during testing.)
-harder and possibly smarter npcs (Used Warzog's advance NPC)
-some random "ooooh & ahhh" stuff for admins only
-new missions with VERY hard battleships & stations (for long lasting missions ment for groups)
-wide selection of new guns and equips rather then a certain set being the "best"(<-this, I have added faction guns for almost every faction which are rare and have their benifits and cons. Also new people also will find new lowclass weapons on the market in some places. new class 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 weapons)
-redesign of any and all systems (I have done this a little, added static complexs for groups to do, so far there will be only one in my release since I want to see how well it does before makign new ones.)
-possible creation of a few new systems (my mod has over I think now 20 custom systems, all which are to be awed at.)
-more use of nomad area (No nomad missions or nomad friendly however, I feel that the nomads are hostile to everyone and should be treated as such, however I could be willing to let people be a nomad if they want for RP.)
-new ships throughout Sirius (Yes there are new custom ships and faction ships which need a high rep with that faction in order to buy the ship.)
-random "pretty good" equips for rewards to good players (Yes, "officer" high lvl NPC are faction fitted and have a very rare chance of dropping equipment that would benifit them in pvp.)
-cheat detection and punishment ( So do I)
and I am willing to take ideas.
Now that's just a quick jump into what my mod has the thread found here will tell you more information about it.
Now I am pretty much asking if you'll be willing to host it temp. or forever, doesn't matter to me since you are testing your server with mods this would be a good test for it.(This also would be a good chance for me to get opinons/ideas from people who try it.) Yes the whole mod has been coded pretty much by me alone.
