1st, what are your abilities, in terms of modding? Have you created any ships, or worked with any of the ini files? If you ask for help. it implies you know a little to get going, or are you asking people to make the items for you. If you are on the last part, then you need to be nice and ask politely and also provide pics and other things of what your looking for. People may then be in a position to help you.

Me myself, I like working with the Ini files. I suck at modding the ship.

well i can the maps and set that stuff up and i can sorta do ini files not really sure though and i would like all the ships to be aviable and stuff like the battle ships and the ships u can''t normally buy and i would like to add soem mod ships and maybe make some weapons withc i will try to learn and i would liek help with chnaging the prices on ships i tihnk u edit a ini file the one called ships i think lol and maybe more later on i have no rush in to finishing the mod right away i would liek to make it nice and slow so no misakes and many other ressions

thats about it for now maybe later i would add more i would like but for now that it is any one who cna help me plz can u help me i am going to try to learn how to do everything while the mod is being made and then maybe i can make a mod with less help.

k i read some of it but theres lots there lol i'm not a big reader and i i think i put enough stuff in like what i want.... i just want people who can make ships and chnage there prices and stuff like that and if any one wnats to help i will give more info about what i want and stuff to them on msn or yahoo or what evver

Let me re-phrase, You have no chance.


There are tutorials where people have spent hours writing exactly how to acheive what you want to do... so you can do it yourself, all it takes is a little effort, and a little reading.

If you don't do it yourself, then it should answer exactly why no-one is wanting to help you out by doing it for you. If you lack the commitment to even attempt to learn on your own, then no-one else is going to commit themselves to it either.

Just not to be completely dissuasive, it's fairly easy to start learning to mod, and addictive once you do. The modding forums (and tutorials forums), and especially the modding for beginners forums, all contain quality threads on information and more about how to mod. They walk you through, the tools etc. As soon as you trip up or hit an issue, post in those forums for help (try searching, then create a new thread). Just please try first though, because people spend a lot of time trying to help solve problems, but if you don't make an effort in the first instance to attempt it yourself with the information provided, then it completely defeats the community objective.

That's good to hear, once you've managed to make some small changes, you are alot more likely to get others willing to help you out

well umm how do u like transfer ships to another mdo could ya tell me or give me a link to it? cuz making ships is hella hard lol with all the painting stuff lol i all ready have ship packs and ships i want in the mod all i need now is how to put them in my mod like how to transfer them

Hi, sorry I don't know much about modding, but I do know you better have peoples permission to use their stuff before you go ripping it out of their mod and adding it to yours.

I'm not really good at DLLs.
But I could help with the ships part...

i am not stealing ships out of other mod ok just ship and ships and i will give the creators credits and milk guy add me [email protected] ok if u have msn and we can talk about what u wanna help with and i will ask them too i'm sure they won't mind

Hi Satan, I didn't go as far to say your were stealing anything, just be sure you have permission to use other's stuff before you add it to your mod. You can't just add it and then put some credits in a readme. Just trying to save you some very bad lashback from people's work that you use in your mod, only trying to help
