Help Wanted - Halo Mod - For Machinima Purposes

Greetings Freelancer modders

I am looking for a team of individuals that would like to make a very special mod to freelancer, a Halo mod.

the ships:
Halcyon class cruiser
Covenant Cruiser
Covenant Dropship
Longsword bomber
Pelican Dropship
Banshee Single Fighter

The Weapons:
MAC Cannon - on Halcyon cruiser
Plasma Torpedoes - on covie cruiser
Archer Missles - on Halcyon cruiser - i think the gundam missle mod will work

Special things:
Camera ship - I would need to have one of the ships to be non existant and no HUD so that it could be a camera ship

Hot key that cycles the Nomad cloak animation - i dont need the ship to actully cloak, but if i could have a hot key that would allow the NOMAD cloak animation to cycle, so i could use that as a "Slipspace" jump entry/exit. Actully if a in system jump could be made where it the animation cycles you jump then cycles again that would be even better. but just a hotkay to cycle the animation will do.

New things:
Also modders, I would like to give you an oppertunity to come up with some NEW ships for the "Halo" universe just look at these suggestions and see if they spark some ideas

Human Single Fighter
Human Frigate
Covenant Frigate
Human Battleship
Covenant Battleship
A White Planatary Bombardment Weapon

Any and all modders who participate will be credited in the "Freelancer Mod Unit" of the machinima, I know there must be Halo fans who are modders and would like to see their name up in movie credits, plus it give yo a chance to show off your modding skills

We're doing a halo mod, with many of those aspects. If you know anything of modding yourself, perhaps we could help eachother? Of course, I am in no way the leader of this mod, so if you want to ask questions go to http://flce.proboards25.com/index.cgi and talk to Versoth. jUst so you know, the mod isn't going that well, so it would really if you did know some modding.

i would like a team of guys who know each other, but it is not required, If one guy does systems and one guy does ID card and one guy does this and that. THen post here and tell us what you can do, place contact information, and talk to each other.

But most importantly i need this done, And you all can take the credit, i need the mod more then I need credit.

I have two units

Freelancer Mod Team - AKA - The Space combat and movement team
Halo 1 & 2 Ground Team - AKA - Ground Team

now the ground team is kinda running behind, but i expect for them to start filming the ground scenes soon, so can i have the mod in hand in about 4 to 6 weeks? Is what i'm asking, REMEMBER, it doesnt need to be complete with bases full of weapons and commodities. It only needs to be complete enough with ships, weapons and shields. Custom Star Systems would be Optional at this point, i could use the already present star systems, but If there were then that would be gravy on the potatoes. So i only need the mod to hold up to a visual inspection as far as ships and weapons, MAYBE systems like reach or earth.

please contact me using the information above and/or reply to this thread.

the sooner i can get this put together the better. Also i might need a couple of you to stick around AFTER its done to tweek it, add a mod or ship in the future.

ps I dont know much of FL modding, this is why i'm asking for people's help, plus i got my hands full with the ground team's work and the script writing and so on and so forth.

i just found a No HUD mod, is there anyway this can be included in the Halo Machinima Mod that were trying to put together

Most likely.

And im the person Yoshimitsu Blade was talking about. The mod isnt going that bad, we just need a skinner that works.

Now that I think about it, if Deamos makes the .tga's and I send him a copy of MS3D and my .mat exporter...

*sigh*

I can do hardpointing(as you obviously found out in my upgrades), i can do almost any format conversion that theres an importer/exporter for. I convinced almost a hundred people that a halo mod is possible(contrary to popular belief).

Maybe you should check out our new forum. Might be surprised.

Hello. Yet another halo mod? Well, as i said to someone else, i suggest you join up with us. We have 55% of the ship s done. They are being tweaked, hardpointed and will then be sent off to our skinner (we finally got a reliable one ) They will then be coded and implemented into the game. Our systems are starting to emerge. I have created our starting system (its bizzare ) and am working on the sol system. All the weapons are done. Many infocards are done. The factions will soon be implemented. The music is done. A system and economy map is under construction, but all commodities have been planned.

As you can see, we have gotten extremely far. I would welcome more modders to our modding team. Or you can sign up for Modding School and learn how to mod.

Lets make this happen!
