Story missions
A while ago, while I was with the (ultimately doomed) FU mod, it occurred to me that although mods had added ships/systems/weapons/bases etc, none had ever changed the central story - which often didn't fit with the mod itself. So I had a look at some of the files, did some twiddling and managed to make a couple of functional missions.
My point is that if you want your mod to have its own story, contact me. Email is on my profile. There are a few limitations -
1) Story missions take a LONG time to code if you don't want them seeming "dead", and it's my GCSE year, so you may have to be patient.
2) Your story must divide neatly into 13 missions, as I've not found any way of changing the number of story missions there are.
3) I can't do .thn cutscene files. They're the same files as are used for the intro screen, but the ones in the game are significantly more complex. Someone else will have to handle them.
