Yeah, but you know.... an RPG is suposed to give you freedom... And there is always a possiblity of having rules to control it...

Well. I'll still try it. I guess I'm asking for too much freedom =(

Unit Name: ‘Golden Strikers’
Faction: Kruger Minerals (Rheinland)
Symbol: A brown money sack with a scythe arching over it
Description:
The Golden Strikers are a rogue division of Kruger Minerals who deal with the protection of merchant vessels and the shipping of high-class ‘minerals’ throughout the Sirius Sector. They are primarily known for their merciless attitude towards bandits and pirates, which has gained them a high standing among all of the House Police forces. However, their over-zealous behavior cost the Golden Strikers dearly, with nearly three-fourths of their members dying during an assault on territory occupied by the Lane Hackers. Yet small groupings of survivors are still known to exist, and are in high demand as escorts for most of Sirius’ shipping companies.

Unit Base: None ( Nomadic Merchant ‘Fleet’ )
Unit Force:
The ‘Geschwin’ (Modified Armored Transport)
The ‘Chkeit’ (Train)
The ‘Schnell’ (Train)
4 Banshee Light Fighters (1 Wing)
4 Hawk Light Fighters (1 Wing)
8 Startracker Light Fighters (2 Wings)

Commander Name: Damien Regoba (Day-me-n Ray-go-bah)
Commander Description:
Damien Regoba has been a mercenary for nearly his entire life, with his experiences leading him into becoming quite the capable pilot and granting him a large amount of respect among the various corporations he worked for. One of these corporations, Kruger Minerals, eventually offered Damien a permanent job involving control over a portion of the Golden Strikers. Damien quickly accepted this offer, and began using his past influence to outfit his small fleet with the best equipment available. Soon enough, he had transformed his small unit into a formidable fleet under the command of his modified transport, the Geschwin. By the time of the Lane Hacker Incident, the Geschwin had been converted into the equivalent of a miniature battleship, with all of its storage areas being scrapped in order to allow for more weaponry and armor. The Golden Strikers, impressed by Damien’s flagship, immediately began trying to enlist his fleet in the battle against the Lane Hackers. Damien, however, saw no way for such a battle to be won, and refused to take part. Now he wanders as one of the only surviving Golden Strikers, continuing to serve as an escort for merchant vessels throughout Sirius.

Osiris battleships are not available at this point in the game. Also VHF are not available to Houses this point in the game. Houses may select from any of the options presented. Also houses are highly encouraged to use the craft from that house, military's do not have a medley of crafts for very good reason, they want to only have to keep repair parts for one craft onboard their vessels.

Post Sun Dec 26, 2004 4:48 am

Hey tyruin your letting gperant have something thats not on your list, very inlike you. I mean come on 24 fighters?! and a modifyed battleship with thrusters, sunslayers and wasps look come on Gparent whats wrong with a regular lib battleship with 16 defenders the rest of us stick by that why can't you? if you had done it in the first place then you wouldn't have to keep modifying

but yuo rase an interseting point
Tyruin can our battleships have shields?

Anyways the combat system will be standard rp based. You describe your attacks, the enemy posts their damage and counters. You can attack NPC's also within reason or request the GM me or assitant GM who will be appointed later, to RP your enemy.

I don't really understand this all too well. If the fighting is story-based, and not point-based, how are we gonna decide who wins a battle?
