Hang on a sec. The Russians were the main Coalition force. They did not launch any sleeper ships. And the Hispania was populated with Hispanic peoples from Spain and such. That's why the Outcasts and Corsairs have names like José, Santiago and some guy called De Jesus

this isn't really up with proper FL lore as it were, but I'll edit the second prologue to be a bit more with-it. Now it's an anti-coalition resistance movement made up of Russians who side with the Alliance for some reason. Happy?

Chapter IV

Three Russian ships lay in wait close to the Manchester - Cortez gate, waiting for the shipment of the alloy. Yoerslav Mikolaivich, Andrei Ipnatiev, and Sasha Kaprilov. Yoerslav and Sasha were the Vorona LF pilots, Andrei in his freighter. Aboard each Vorona was a boarding party of three, one headed by Nikolai Tsavrov, the other Yula Nikrov. The convoy would arrive any minute. It did, escorted by ten Falcon fighters, much stronger than they were expecting.

"Ipnatiev, just give us support fire. Kaprilov and I shall engage the fighters. I'll engange the rightmost fighter, Sasha, the leftmost." Yoerslav ordered. The others agreed to the plan.
The Russians moved in, surprising the Bretonian pilots who thought them civilians. Yoerslav and Sasha got enough fire in to kill their targets and choose a new one before the BMM fighters broke formation. Four Falcons to each Vorona. Heavily outnumbered and outgunned, their only advantage was maneuverability. They could dodge most of the fire, but they couldn't do much damage. Yoerslav had an idea.He dove between two Falcons and launched five mines. They took the shields off both of them and damaged one's hull. Yoerslav fired guns at the damaged one, destroying it, plus the explosion damaged the other one. He dispatched the second fighter easily. Four down, six to go. Suddenly, all six Falcons turned to Yoerslav and unleased all hell on him. His shields fell within seconds, and his batteries wouldn't hold very long. He tried to take evasive acton, but the sheer number of fighters going at him made that impossible.
A break in the storm. Andrei and Sasha came in on the Falcons, killing two more, and routing the last of them. The fleeing BMM escorts were speedily taken out with cruise disruptors and gunfire. They didn't fight back.
Sasha and Yoerslav latched onto their transports, and the parties boarded, killing the pilots.
"No time to lose, let's get out of here, we won't be expected to show up in Texas. I know a jump hole. Form on me." ordered Yoerslav. The others did as ordered. Cruise engines activated.

As the Russians' fight was ending, MacArtain and Ariana were leaving Alcatraz base, also going to Texas via jump hole. They flew to it with normal engines; no hurry, and it's a short flight. Ariana jumped first with MacArtain close behind.
"Strange... Agiera always claimed jump holes are naturally extremely dangerous." MacArtain observed.
"That's a lie; Agiera just wants people to use jump gates. First time through a jump hole?"
"Aye. That was my first time in Liberty as well."
"Ain't much around here to see. The flight to the Hudson hole isn't too long. Form on me."
"aye.. Done."

Their cruise engines started when someone appeared from the jump hole, then more came. MacArtain and Ariana stopped and turned to see who just jumped in.
"Don't move." ordered one of the unidentified pilots.
"Who are you?" MacArtain enquired
"Yoerslav Mikolaivich. I think you and the other pirate there could be... useful for us."

Good so far. One nitpick: Is "Yoerslav" a proper Russian name? I've seen "Yaroslav", but not the other spelling. Oh well.
