I like the idea of the Dom Kavosh rogue. What is she some let over Imperial Guardian? Keeping an eye on the territory?

While I think the idea of the character is cool, your ship is a bit overpowered, but it can work out.

I correct myself because I was wrong about Jim. Reading over the sign-in, I found Jim's post. He just lolly-gagged getting into the fic. Also reading over the webstory sign-in. I found there's a huge number of people who never wrote themselves in or broke off and were forgotten. Starshock, NomadLair, arson615, sandworm17, Exzyle, parabolix, Hole in Head, Traimorh, San Holo, and Silient Jay all signed-in and never bothered to post. Ein-7919 and Eraser entered but did keep up and were forgotten. Lutz, Cpt. Savage, and Wizard's characters are alive by virtue that they have plot importance. Terranova, while we haven't heard about his supposed "reign of terror," has been run so he could stay low and quiet until now.

Malys, I suggest you talk to Wizard, our mod and GM. He originally closed the sign-in because of a quota of people. Well, we're way below that. Only five or six guys are keeping this baby alive. I'd support you into the fic. The story is a place of unusual twists and happenings. It started as a few posts with not destiny evident. Then there was a chase after a fugitive. Then pirates with superweapons. After that a resurrected Rhienland on the path to war with superweapons. Now Liberty and Rhienland are in cohoots and are gunning for our heroes. It's one twisty plot, it can stand more twists and life.

well she IS kinda pissed at the current gov of kusari (they dont like her either a.k.a. 16 mil bounty that could come important because of BHs after her) also she isnt renegade, she just got caught by the nomads when they went bad (see possible new clan by malystryx in the multiplayer forum) she was rounded up and imprisoned for roughly 16 millienia. she will kill anything or anyone that reminds her of the nomads. also how do i get in contact with wizard?

Malys, I meant rogue in the sense of a loner adventurer, not rogue as in rogue agent or general.

And most the characters have a beef of varying degrees with the present goverment of Kusari. Daniel "Psawhn," Whasp's character, has a mild dislike for Samura and it's pirate puppets, and he hates the Dragons and GC (if ya get in, he would be a good source of drama and tension for your character). Quigley, me, has a lawful vendetta with Kusari (he hates Samura, police, navy, Hogosha, and FA, but won't attack them outside their territory. He makes allowances for Kishiro and doesn't attack them). Quigley is a near "official" GC and is loyal to them and the Dragons. Everyone else is mostly neutral on the issue right now. But Kusari is the government you just love to hate.

Now contacting Wiz. Forgot the location of the Wiz Signal? Don't worry Comissioner Gordon has the keys. Email Wizard. His email address is linked at the top of each of his posts. Put in the subject that you want to join the webstory and explain yourself.

my char is hated to the verge of hostile by the kusari police but still barely neutral
hated by samura but neutral to kishiro, GC an dragons practicly worship her
everyone else is neutral and suprisingly is friendly with both corsairs and outcasts

I was just reading through the story from the beginning, and I noticed something. (How I didn't notice it before proves I'm blind - or at least have selective sight)
I asked, after the initial appearance of the Vengeance , the cruiser ignored me at that range. The response was that it knew about me, but I missed. I just noticed that, and I have something to say about it:

I did not miss! :p. (Or would have not if there cruiser wasn't there. The neuralnet is a much better targetter than I am)

There - that's my daily rant done with.

Edit: And as much as I'm fine with more characters, I'm not sure if maly's character isn't a bit... superhero-ish. Of course, the final decision is up to Wizard.

I agree with Whasp. Your character does seem superheroish. A reasonable character will be both fun for us and for you to have in the story.

I don't know she's a bit of superheroine. The ship is the big thing. Have a more basic ship. If we hack the ship back a little (getting rid of the nomad shield, the two torps, and ultra-power guns), it would work out fine and fit better into the realm of the story. Remember the Dragons and GC don't have the resources to build such a craft. They can't get cheap food, supplying such weaponry to one ship would be a waste of valuable and limited resources.

Anyways the girl just escaped the nomads, right? She could have amnesia or a disability that would keep her from using her god-like Dom Kavosh powers (don't they have great powers or something? Or just great tech?).

In the end, it's Wiz's opinion and choice. But he's been dreadful absent from the fic and techy bits. WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN US, OH GREAT AND POWERFUL WIZARD OF OT!

Wiz never had anything to do with Jim's introduction in the story. I say it's fine to have another char joining us. Especially a Kusari char, since the story is going to expand to Kusari (and Bretonia perhaps) somewhere in the next posts.

But yeah, turn down your loadout just a bit, then it's fine with me.

ok i will drop th nomad sheild, also she dosnt understand all human customs (embaressing moments), she dosnt have many powers (exept the ability to possess people), how about i switch out the TDSs for a pair of chain guns? the torps stay she can only carry 2 of them and thry are useless againest any thing that has a speed faster than 30 (they are also horribly expensive and illegal). she also dosnt speak english very good. she carries an old projectile pistol as her sidearm on the ground (they arent illegal firearms so she can crry it anywhere). the only good thing about her dom kavosh dna is that cardamnie is not addictive to her and she is resistant to poisons and tranqualizers (she has to take 15 times the dose of tranqualizer to knock her out). and she gets very tipsy when she drinks alchahol.

edit#1:how about possible upgrade to averice chain gns later?

That seems reasonable. Now all you need is a convenient way to jump into the story (e.g. like a prison break from a battleship ).

True, I did get in the story without Wizard's approval. And he seems to have completely abandoned the story (WE MISS YOU!! WE NEED YOU!!!), so if you ask for approval it will probably be a long time before you get in. It would be perfectly acceptable with me if you wrote yourself in without his 'ok'.

Your character is very interesting, but just don't unleash some super dom kavash powers. Maybe you could be another antagonist or something (just a suggestion).

I figure you're in, Malys. You just have to find a point to jump in. Ignore Jim and his prison breaks. Prison breaks have been done to death. Jim intros himself that way. Daniel, O'Connor, and I have done one. (O'Connor did a near one in the Raider base.) Nearly everyone has a jailbreak in their backstory which is okay. No more jailbreaks! The webstory is beginning to sound like the James Bond series.

As I said before my tirade, ya have to a start point. Most of gang is in the Italian Systems near Vatican Station. Now while Quigley's destination hasn't been written and he could sneak if wanted all the way to Kusari via jumphole, there's a jumphole to New Italy from Sigma 13. Sigma 13 can be reached from Chokugo, and all that's required to get to the Italian jumphole is sneak past Rheinland patrols (the RNC wiped out the GMG).
