305th Fighter Clan Recruitment and Versoth''s Challenge Deta

But you dont care very much about that, do u. U want the details on my challenge on the news, right? Well, here they r.
*In order from top priority to bottom priority*
1st. THIS MUST BE A SERVER_SIDE MOD***
2nd. THIS WILL NOT CAUSE ANY CRASHES TO OTHER PLAYERS
3rd. Now that the shouting and caps lock are done, lets move on.
4th. this mod MUST(if not, please provide a reason why) include a new system, a new base (or two bases) and some custom ships
5th. The SHIPS should include:
A. A fighter killer, that is fast, maneuverable, and has some anti-fighter guns
B. a fighter bomber, that has less guns and a few torpedoes for some punch against cap-ships
C. A cargo ship, for salvage and in-combat or pre/post- combat reloading and repair (such as moving Botts/Batts over to another ship)
D. A light cruiser that has missile/anti fighter turrets that can move through a combat zone and pick off enemy fighters
E. A dreadnaught, mainly for reloading, repairing, (if possible, docking for jump and concealment into an enemy system or combat zone) that can attack enemy capital ships that other clans could bring to bear against my squadron. We dont want to die out there, in the cold void with no chance of escape. Nor do we want to be ambushed while moving into enemy territory. The dreadnaught could hold the squadron's ships and jump into enemy systems, assess whether the coast is clear or not, and launch the squad or jump deeper into enemy territory if need be. Also, if the dreadnaught could have a high cruise speed, that would be real cool.
6th. As for GUNS, I am not expecting too much. A new homing torp, some high-refire guns and mass drivers would be great.
7th. As for the way of the new system, the layout is not too specific. A border station, some patrols of the bases and jump gates, one or two cap ship patrols, and trade lanes connecting the jump gate with the main station/s would be great.
8th. If possible, the stations(at least in my clan's system) should be killable. However, the stations should be very, very hard to kill. killing them should require an extremely large frontal assault including a huge amount of torps, capital ships, and missiles to blow up my stations. Some defense platforms and a cap-ship and police route should be there, in case my clan is offline.
9th. If possible, include a tutorial and/or programs that I could use to make new systems for clans that decide to join in the furball.
10th. Another "if possible", I hope that my stations are defended well and that they have some guns of their own. And, please not the station gins from the origional FL that have a refire rate of about 10 shots per minute. Have some good anti-fighter guns available, and missile turrets on stations for fighter defense.
11th. Please make capital ships available for purchase. A huge cost, certainly, but not too big a cost that it would be impossible to buy.
12th. These may seem like a lot to ask, but one more thing. Make a built-in server operator and curse guard. I want my server members to have an enjoyable time.


*** If the mod must be downloaded, that is fine. It's just that a server-side mod for just me, the server side, would be great.

The winner will recieve(if they ever log on) a special ship, money, and equipment bonus for making the mod. If you are interested, please post. I would like to see who is interested and an estimated time of how long it would take.

umm, i hardly no anyhting about mods, but this seems like a hefty project, and i can at least say that the server side part is pretty much impossible... but if it does work out i'd like to try it out

hi jack. lol. anyway, the server side part was what i typed before i put in the requirements. i forgot to omit it. So, if u can put into a serverside mod, thats awesome. If not, ahh well. nothing against ur chances of winning

lol if someone accepts the challenge can i put in some requests for a system and ships etc.?? btw u should post an ad under the help wanted etc mod forum

kk here goes

i would like a system with a jumphole/gate to Omicron gamma and a jumphole/gate to new berlin
i dont care where they are, but would like a heavily armed border station/weps platforms at each
id like the system to be the earth sector with the earth, moon, mars etc.
earth and mars would be dockable and sell [SGC weps and ships, preferably weapons at mars and ships on earth. For ships i would like a maneuverable fighter with medium armor and 4/4 mounts, all class 9 except for 2 guns which are class 10, about 85/85 nanos/bats and maybe 90 cargo room. i would also like a VHF with about 6/5 mounts all class 10 except for 2 turrets and 2 guns, about 150 cargo and 120/120 bats/bots, lastly i would like a cruiser that is more maneuverable than a battleship or a liberty cruiser, but slightly less so than a VHF, this would have 7/7 mounts all class 10, 200/200 bats/bots and 200 cargo room, if possible it would b nice to have these ships similar in style and color to eachother

for weps i would want a fast firing laser, a heavy hitting plasma cannon, a missle that will almost never miss(doesnt have to be high damage though) and that doesnt use ammo, but energy instead and a shield killer missle or gun

lol i no this isnt gonna happen just thought id share wut would b ideal for me lmao

lol my e mail is down lol so i cant, umm i have 1 prob lol im already on a WTS world server and love WTS World so mayb ill back out(unless crabby wants to feature my clan!)

Glanced over this so don't know if its been pointed out alrdy but...if ur including new systems it cannot be only serverside the client has to have a copy as well.

Most of this stuff in fact would require a client mod now that I've looked properly. Some isn't possible like a battleship to carry fighters in. Can't be a base and fly around like a normal ship. Can't make the mod as I am in the process of finishing up a mod for server I play on that includes the clans with their own factions, bases, npcs and such. If you look through the tutorial section though most of the stuff you need is in there although may require a bit of digging to get at it. Any pointed questions though I could answer and maybe walk you through a few things although I am, by no stretch of the imagination , as much of a modder as some of the ppl on here but sounds like you want something like I am trying.

system creation, new ships and almost all of your list arnt server side... main things you can do server side is, 1.encounters 2.starting cash, ship and location 3.npc ship loadouts and a few others i might have forgot, but nothing major like systems and guns and all that.

my e mail works there if u click the e mail me things. and for my e mail its all in lower caps and dont forget the underscore some people do that. and i got your message in the other part of the fourm about your ship but im srry we have way to much work to make some more ships from scrach for clans. you may have to find someone else to make it or pick one from "the all good things mod 2.0" all the ships from that mod are in the mod. also the subre xr or somthing like that is also in it. so pick one from the list or send us one that you what. (if its someone elses ship make sure you have permission.)

anyway could it be any ship, one that isnt from the all good things mod? cuz one of my favorite ships is the Shroud, which has great potential with more hardpoints and better power supply. Another of my favorites is the B-wing from the Porshe's Starwars Shippack *ive always had a thing for B-wings and TIE Defenders*
