*In order from top priority to bottom priority*
1st. THIS MUST BE A SERVER_SIDE MOD***
2nd. THIS WILL NOT CAUSE ANY CRASHES TO OTHER PLAYERS
3rd. Now that the shouting and caps lock are done, lets move on.
4th. this mod MUST(if not, please provide a reason why) include a new system, a new base (or two bases) and some custom ships
5th. The SHIPS should include:
A. A fighter killer, that is fast, maneuverable, and has some anti-fighter guns
B. a fighter bomber, that has less guns and a few torpedoes for some punch against cap-ships
C. A cargo ship, for salvage and in-combat or pre/post- combat reloading and repair (such as moving Botts/Batts over to another ship)
D. A light cruiser that has missile/anti fighter turrets that can move through a combat zone and pick off enemy fighters
E. A dreadnaught, mainly for reloading, repairing, (if possible, docking for jump and concealment into an enemy system or combat zone) that can attack enemy capital ships that other clans could bring to bear against my squadron. We dont want to die out there, in the cold void with no chance of escape. Nor do we want to be ambushed while moving into enemy territory. The dreadnaught could hold the squadron's ships and jump into enemy systems, assess whether the coast is clear or not, and launch the squad or jump deeper into enemy territory if need be. Also, if the dreadnaught could have a high cruise speed, that would be real cool.
6th. As for GUNS, I am not expecting too much. A new homing torp, some high-refire guns and mass drivers would be great.
7th. As for the way of the new system, the layout is not too specific. A border station, some patrols of the bases and jump gates, one or two cap ship patrols, and trade lanes connecting the jump gate with the main station/s would be great.
8th. If possible, the stations(at least in my clan's system) should be killable. However, the stations should be very, very hard to kill. killing them should require an extremely large frontal assault including a huge amount of torps, capital ships, and missiles to blow up my stations. Some defense platforms and a cap-ship and police route should be there, in case my clan is offline.
9th. If possible, include a tutorial and/or programs that I could use to make new systems for clans that decide to join in the furball.
10th. Another "if possible", I hope that my stations are defended well and that they have some guns of their own. And, please not the station gins from the origional FL that have a refire rate of about 10 shots per minute. Have some good anti-fighter guns available, and missile turrets on stations for fighter defense.
11th. Please make capital ships available for purchase. A huge cost, certainly, but not too big a cost that it would be impossible to buy.
12th. These may seem like a lot to ask, but one more thing. Make a built-in server operator and curse guard. I want my server members to have an enjoyable time.
*** If the mod must be downloaded, that is fine. It's just that a server-side mod for just me, the server side, would be great.
