Check what formats Bryce can export- it's possible there is one that MS3d can import natively.

Bryce can export OBJ, which is what you want as your export format anyhow.

as far as i know there are already enough SL ships in FL
well - exactly those you mentioned
so why create new?

Because it's good practice, and it won't hurt having another ship.

You will have trouble with exporting from Bryce 5 to Milkshape. Even though Bryce 5 exports obj files, this only tends to work on editable terrains (either single or double sided). Unless you are after a flying piece of terrain, this ain't going to be too good for your ship.

The problem comes between the way Bryce 5 models are built and the way Milkshape and most other 3d programs create models. With most 3d programs, they work by the familar polygons / vertices method to create an object. Bryce doesn't. Instead it works with Primatives, Boolians, negatives and postive objects etc.... to create what you are after. It would take one major bit of coding for a exporter to translate all that into a polygon rendered model that can be read by other programs. If you find an exporter plugin that does that, then let me know as I have tried searching and found nothing. to be honest, considering what the exporter would be required to do, I doubt anyone has bothered to create one.
