hi,

I didn't .cmp my ships cause they are untextured, and that would defeat the point. Spacey's working on a texture, then I'll .cmp and .mat. I only have .ms3d right now, if anyone wants them. Figured you might want to do your own textures for consistancy with your already completed ships.

Update:
Checked out the Orion.
It looks pretty good.
Only problem is that it's turrets won't fire, so it won't be available to the player.
(Oh, and it has no lights or contrails, but that's minor.)

Sorry, no ftp site :/ this means you are serious.. for some reason the gemini sector map wont load.. ahhhh crapola.

How complete is the gemini sector map anyway.. was it finished with all the bases from p1 to land on, plus maybe more? Or is it just a skeleton..

Would the gemini sector map work in open sandbox play without the story line? I am quite finished with the story right now, as are many others, and instead have fun just flying around.

This would be great if it could go on a server.

You really arent april fooling?

The Gemini Sector is complete.
However, only the Perry Naval Station has a working base.
I didn't convert the systems to true Privateer systems, as the missions require the FL bases.
The mod has a new beginning, so that you can begin exploring right-a-way, or you can start the missions at any time.
The problem is that if you try to enter one of the new systems that I created, the jump engages, you begin traveling in the wormhole, and just as you're about to exit, you boot to desktop.
Nothing I do seems to work.
My mini-mod for testing them allows you to jump into one new system, and then you boot to desktop.
I've been trying for almost a month to get it to work, but it doesn't!
I can't see any other choice but to remove it.

concerning the gemini sector, maybe, just maybe there are too many sectors so that FL cannot handle them and therefore crashes?
just an idea, but try to lower their number and test again if it works.

or try to remove half of them and see if it works, if not, remove half of the remaining, if it does, add half of the excluded ones, etc.


as for the openSP mod, xerxes changed in the 1.1 version the m13.ini and some value in the content.dll which i cannot follow right now due to the dll only shows me the version info when opening with resource hacker.

anyway, as far as i can remember, in the 1.0 version there was changed the third mission so that ALL jumpholes get unlocked, not only the ones originally in the m2b.ini(??).

but as long as you havent changed any value in the m13.ini or did some stuff in the content.ini, the mods *should* be compatible.

that is, of course, only if FLMM uses these versions of the openSP mod...
yet FLMM itself should show if these mods are compatible.

Got a new problem...
I removed the Gemini Sector, but I boot to desktop every time I launch!
Maybe...
If I fix this bug, it'll fix the Gemini Sector?

Warzog, do you by any chance still have a restart.fl from a previous version in the savegame folder? That sounds exactly like what happens to me when I forget to remove that when changing mods.

Hey! Try could we get assemble a team to recreate the gemini sector for warzog? This man has been single handedly reprogramming freelancer since the old team fell apart.
