end of universe - no boundaries?
Ok, Im still waiting for my full version, I set out to find the edge of the FL universe , so I took the demo and started out at Detroit Munitions and flew in a South-South-Easterly direction with about a 75 degree climb, I set it on cruise and went and read a book. After a while the only thing I could see was this little pinpoint bright spot, which was the Medium White star of the New York system. When I clicked on it, it said 650k! Ok, when you're out at Fort Bush, you're like 48k from it. Anyway, I got tired of trying to find the edge and went back. I spent about 45 minutes on cruise to get to that point. Before I went back, I looked at the Navmap and it showed this red flashing triangle at the bottom right corner of the map (in like sector G8, my ship wasn't on it). I also looked at the universe map, but it didn't show my distance from New York any different than normal or else the systems are so far apart that I hardly went anywhere.
So where the heck is the edge of the universe vertically? At 650k, I kept flying a little, and the distance away kept increasing, it wasn't stuck like some games do when you reach 'the end'. If there's no end, then what is that sound file doing in the FL dir that's something like 'warning edge of universe reached'?
