Sitting at base, preparing for one of the later story missions, I went in and and filled up on equipment expecting a big giant battle ahead...

... while I did get the big battle as expected, it turns out that instead of BUYING a full load of shield batteries, I was instead SELLING them all at the dock. And so I got to go into battle with no shield but the one I was wearing. And by the time I noticed, the autosave had already kicked in and I didn't have anything saved at the spacedock.

I did manage to make it through the battle, with only the less of my port wing to show for it. I never used so many nanobots in my life.

So, if you're trying to increase the difficulty of the game, try being a moron, it helps

LOL! It seems the interface isn't that intuitive after all.

ROFL! Join the club! I had this exact same problem for the first few weeks of play. I kept clicking my inventory and selling it thinking I had bought more.

Thats why DA made shieldbats and nanobots $200 buying AND selling.

Im relatively a small moron, I sell them alot by accident, but I notice it before taking off

Course, playing that battle with basically only armor, i was glad that I had decided to buy an Anubis.

And at the end of the battle, I had three shield batteries from looting. but I only had like 1 nanobot left.
