FreeLancer "Mission Designer" on dope?

Okay, either this guy is stoned, mispoke, or has a different version of the game than *I* do...

My favorite set of ships are the Border Worlds type ships. I tend to side with the Outcasts, one of the prominent pirate factions, whenever I play Freelancer, and these ships are available at most of their bases. Not only do they look awesome, they tend to be faster , more maneuverable, and can equip better than average equipment. The Kusari also make a class of ship I'm particularly fond of, the Kusari Dragon heavy fighter. It's not the best or the fastest or the most powerful, but it handles well and looks great. Sometimes in space, style is everything.

And this guy designed missions for the game?

Just funny, I guess.

Actually, the devs all have access to the tools used to make the game.
So, it's pretty easy for them to activate/de-activate all those little goodies for their own personal playing pleasure.

He probably even has the CLOAKS working in his game!

He was right about the Dragon though, the screenshots don't do it justice, it IS a beautiful ship.

I think he means faster as in moves faster - eg. turn/roll rate...

Maybe not faster, but faster acceleration due to less mass.

I agree on this one. I now own the Titan. But compared to the Hammerhead it flys like a Bucket of stones, and looks crap.

Were the Hammerhead is the coolest looking ship in the game, And flys like a Farrari. Just need to get a great set of weapons to match. Shame about it not having Level 10 Shields though to match. The weapons don't really matter from 9 to 10.

I've yet to try the Sabre though! I hear good things about it's flying abilitys here! If it flys as good as the Hammerhead it's the ship for me due to the fact that it can be fitted with Level 10 Shields and Weaponds, even though it does'nt look anywere near as cool as the Hammerhead!!!!!

But I supose you can't have your Cake and Eat it, It's one or the other!
