What was the Texas Accident?

So if you fly around the Texas system you'll notice a lot of debris about some jump gate government erorr that Agiera Technologies screwed up on. And on Dallas, the news reports always talk about how Texans are owed big time for the government just up and running away. Does anyone know what happened to that area, or what's the history? The rumors only talk about so much ...

Deep Space Engineering built its headquarters here during the great construction boom following the announcement in 95 A.S. that Texas would be Liberty's R & D center for the practical application of Ageira I technology. In 500 AS, a next generation Jump Gate test near the Dallas Research Station resulted in a horrific explosion that destroyed all man made objects within the system. 300 years later, the vast debris fields riddled with radiation pockets serve as a stark reminder of that dark day.

hmmm.. i can only find a link to the IGN rundown of the Kusari and Border World systems in the Lancerreactor archives... will keep looking...
