Your progress and playing style
I know that a good number of you have completed the SP game, but for those of us who have not, I'd like to know how everyone is progressing, and how you've played up to that point. PLEASE NO SPOILERS - just the facts, if you will. I'll start:
Currently I just finished the SP Mission 7 and I'm level 13.
worth - 48,000
kills - 244
time - 16hrs, 30 mins
Systems visited - 14
Bases visited - 46
Jump holes found - 12
My current ship is a bulky Bretonian Crusader heavy fighter, and I'm flat broke thanks to mission 6 & 7. I've been avoiding most of the random missions and spend a lot of time exploring and making trade runs. Most of my exploring has involed just finding planets, bases and jump gates. I love the game, and it's been very addictive too. The story is great and very upredictable so far. My next goal is make enough money to buy a new ship. I really don't like the crusader, but it's done well for me in combat.
