The save file, can they be saved to a CD-R?

I would like to save the save file for this game so if my PC takes a dump I can put the save file back. Where is it?

Thanks alot. lol what is the Restart.fl ? and the autosave.fl? do I need them for the save

just take whichever .fl you want. Look at the date/time stamp or just take the autosave.fl. That's usually the most recent one

Autosave is just that, the last autosave.

You would use a whole CD-R for a 90kb file? Wouldn't a floppy disk, or a free web host work better?

Stormtrooper Tactics 101: Okay class, repeat after me. "There he is! Blast em!" Very good.

You dont have to close the session. Can leave it open and add to it.

Also, how much is a CD-R these days, .99?

When/if you restore the files, make sure you verify the Read Only attributes are not set, since when you burn them to CD, it changes the files to Read Only.

Use a CD-RW, not a CD-R. You can rewrite on a CD-RW as much as you want, it's like a 650MB floppy I backup my important stuff like save games, address books, favorites etc in the the event of a system crash so I don't lose anything important.

why not just use a floppy then?

You know the newer Dell system's don't even come with floppy drives anymore? They'll be gone soon with CD's being so cheap and als being bootable.
