NEED HELP WITH SAVE GAMES

wonder of wonder, this game runs on my laptop, p3 550meg, 8 meg ati rage mobility. so i been playing for hours and have advanced. tomorrow when i install it on the big rig, i dont wanna have to repeat. also when i advance on the big rig, and go on the road i wanna start where i left off. how do i transfer save games. in the freelancer folder on my harddrive, there is no file that says saves, where are they and how can i transfer?? any help would be appreciated.

Freelancer is one of those games that don't store the savegames in the game folder but in "C:\My Folder\My Games\Freelancer". Or maybe it was "My Files" instead of "My Folder". Dunno, it's "Eigene Dateien" on my system.

thanks for the quick repy. im running win 98 on my laptop, that folder only exists on xp, where do i find it in win 98??

It should be there with Win98 as well (i'm using 98). If you can't find it just run a file search on "Freelancer" and you should see it.

Try My Documents -> My Games - should be in there.

ok i found it, thanks, now the big question, can you take a save game file from freelancer running under win98, and transfer it to FL running under win xp?

I would assume so. (I just have the demo by the way, and no 98 machine to test on). But I see absolutely no reason why the operating system would have any affect whatsoever on how games are saved.
