So, when is the Xbox version coming?
In fact, the controls would actually be better suited for the Xbox. Setup the sticks like a FPS, inverted of course, the d-pad could cycle through the nav/info menus, black button for mines, white for countermeasures, X button for hostile targets, Y non hostile, A for afterburner, B for missles/torpedos. To top it all off they could add support for higher resolutions with HDTVs. If MS wanted to be crazy they could even setup Freelancer servers inside the Xbox Live service, and bingo, you have the console worlds first online spaceflight exploration game.
If this game had stuck with more of a "Frontiers sim feel" id say no way, but as it is with everything automatic, this game plays more like a console game anyway.
