Can you really join a faction?

Hi! I've been wondering if there is a way to join a faction. For instance, if I keep doing jobs for the Bounty Hunters guild, over and over and over again, will I be able to join them sometime or is that impossible? All the members seem to know and to like me and all, but that's about all I got from helping them all the time. Any help would be appreciated.

You can never official "join" a faction. You will always be a freelancer, and even though a faction may LOVE you, you won't join them. The most you can do is just keep getting missions, you will never be asked to join officially as far as I know
