Can bases In demo be destroyed?

I must have shot 10 sunslayer torp's at the junkers base, and to no seeming effect.. playing the demo with modz.. can bases be destroyed? (pirate)?

you need like 800starslayer torpedoes to destroy a bace

really? i thout bases were invulnerable

I Demand "protect my target", you dumbhead AI wingmen and shoot down those damn torpedoes[![![![!
