Outlaw in Sp?

this might be a dumb question to which i should know the answer to but will be able to play the SP story as an outlaw? (outcast rouge etc.) i mean from the demo it seems to me that you kind of have to fight outlaws but i really want to be a pirate but i also want to play SP is this possible?

In single player no, in multiplayer, theres a mod where i think you can start as a pirate...not too sure though.

i know you can play as an outlaw i was just wondering if it will interfear with the story (someone who was a tester should answer this)

From what I've heard, you can't really interfere with the story no matter what, so you can just be as bad, good or neutral as you like, the story still goes on.
