When demo ends?

When it ends does it just goto the last slash screen shot , IE like when you normaly end the game?

I just bought some cargo and poof... Now this is the second time it has done this to me? If it was a meml leak it would have just locked up or domped to the desktop...hummm.

When the demo ends..it will drop you to the screen showing some facts about Freelancer and what is in the full game, etc. Esc. from that screen drops you back to the desktop. Just keep you total networth below 20000k ( 25k is the limit, but to be on the safe side..20k is a good figure ) and keep playing as long as you want. My save game has allmost 19 hours game time on it and I am still playing. I keep a eye on my networth and will not accept any mission that will put me above it.

Hopefully this will not happen in the retail version!

Of course not! I think it was a dumb thing to put in a demo...but what the heck..I am glad they released a demo. I have got to practice a lot of things so I will be sharp for the full version!

I did not get a spec. screen.
It did talk about the release date,, was that it?

Actually, the max is $29,019, but I keep it below 25K just to be safe. A few tips on keeping it down:

1. Sell back your old shields and stuff, and buy brand new ones, you generally take a loss of $300-$1500 depending on the item.

2. Buy expensive (red buy icon) comoddities and jettison them into space.

3. Visit all the bars and spend some money bribing people or buying information from them.

You can drop items out into space? Or are you just talking about buying mines and countermeasures and firing them off?

Open your cargo window, click on a piece of cargo. there should be a little waste basket symbol on the screen.

Yeah, it took me a while to find it, but it looks kinda like the Recycle Bin

bribing ? sofar the smallest brib was 69,000. and that was before I did any missions. Trent just went to the bar and did not even have a job yet...

Once your stance is about green4 neutral with someone, they can be bribed for <$9000

Of course it just takes time, but you could just frag the faction you are trying to get in with's enemies.

Maybe possibly spoiler.................
