Can you get past level 18 in single player?

Hello all....

I have been playing the marketing beta since I preordered freelancer and I have completed the single player campaign. Now I am placed back on manhattan with a rank of 18. However, my next level requirement is way lower than my current worth and when I complete missions now it decreases my current worth and my next level requirement becomes some different random number. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix for this? I dont know if it matters but my disk says marketing beta on it. Is that different than the PR Beta? Please help...I have gone through the SP campaign twice because i thought this was a bug. Is there no way for me to get past level 18 in SP? Any help wouyld be appreciated.

For some reason I thought I remembered someone saying that in their review version the max level was 30 something, but maybe that was for AI

I'm fairly positive the max level is 38.

Yes, I have noticed it too. For some reason it displays the ammout of credits needed for the next level, e.g. if it says you have 130.000 credits and you need 60.000 credits for the next level, then in fact you need 190.000 credits totally for the next level. Yes, I know, pretty weird.
