Something else I was gonna say, that I forgot... It would have been a great touch to have some sort of universal (or even just per system!) news network, if only so that people would stop saying "Hey, you're new around here, aren't you..." and variations thereof. Much better to pick up info from, instead of relying on individual characters for things that should be common knowledge, and come across as being... way too informative for a casual conversation. Another thing, though it wouldn't be very useful to actually have in the game, but seeing as they went to the trouble of naming every pilot you come across, it'd be neat to hear that "such and such pilot" was murdered/captured/killed (depending on who they're flying for).

After you hit "H" to go into turret view, hit the spacebar, it should say "mouse flight" at the bottom of the screen, and you should be able to aim and shoot the turrets with the mouse.
Thats what worked for me, anyway. I hope it helps.

Cruise mode.. will most of the time alllow you to outrun your attackers...just like in Privateer were you could use the trusters to out run your attackers. But if they happen to use 'cruise disrupter missles ' like the 'Outcast ' did once on me...you better be prepared to fight.
