Quick Question

if you become friendly with *any* pirate group will it give you access to the secret jumphole network?
or is it pirate specific groups?

Jumpholes arent owned by anyone. You can use any jumphole in the game without getting people to like you.

Watch out, sometimes you pop out of a hole and there are a huge number of hostile ships on the other side. Its happened to me. Be careful

as for the natural jumpholes, are they located everywhere or do pirates routenely set up shop near them as is the case in the new york system?

natural jump hole in the new york system...what have i been missing out on...where is it?

*If you have a cat and a dog in the same house, will that be a problem? Of course not, you might just have solved world hunger*

Look at the patrol paths in your map (make sure to check the neutral, hostile and friendly). Oftentimes, the paths will converge to an empty spot. If you fly to this spot, there might be a base or a jumphole. So just explore.

Are these in the Demo?

Wow, a whole new dimension to FL this is going to be one really cool game!
Thanks,

Yes, there are two bases you won't have info on if you only play lawful factions, Rochester and Buffalo, and there are (at least) three jump holes that I've found so far in the demo. Actually, I bought the locations to the Colorado and Texas jumpholes, and discovered the NY one on my own, but I didn't realize that it coincided with the patrol routes. There are also (at least) two wreckage sites, the BH ship Agressor and lost police patrol 27.

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world:
those who understand binary, and those who don't.
