TRACTOR BEAM FAILERS??

Somethimes a ship drops like 3 items and i can only tractor in like 1 or 2 when my cargo hold is near empyt! why does this happen?

If the items are shield batterys or nanobots, the tractor beam will fail if you already have your ships limit of the item.

Or if your cargo hold is full and you try to tractor in more cargo.
