Will DA ever release the source code for Freelancer?

I know that Id released their code for Quake 2 and Quake 3. Do you think that Digital Anvil / Microsoft will ever release the source code for Freelancer?

Pozo, you're thinking of QDOS. Microsoft bought QDOS (quick and dirty operating system) from some guy for $50 US, and renamed it MS-DOS (Microsoft Disk Operating System) for a contract with IBM.
