Shipping FL from the US

Sorry to be a pain, but have any UK forum members found anywhere in the States that will sell to a UK address? I remember hearing somewhere that Amazon.com wouldn't.

If so, what sort of price (in pounds and dollars) would we be talking to get a copy shipped to the UK?

Am I right in thinking that FL bought from the States would have no problems (technical or otherwise) running on a UK PC?

Couldn't find a website for Strategy Plus, so I've just ordered it from DVD Box Office. They get it on Thursday March 6th, so hopefully I should have it 7 days or so after that.

$74.95 (Canadian dollars) and if I'm reading the site right, free shipping. That works out at £32.05 for us Brits.

Anybody know if I'll have to pay any sort of import duty/taxes etc on software purchased outside the UK?

I'd be interested in knowing TAX on software too, as I plan to buy from the same site (can't wait for the UK release date).

Tax depends on whether Customs an Excise suspect anythiong in the parcel. So far I've never had any problems. I think they tend to go for the larger deliveries that indicate a possible ilegal trading set up.

At least in germany there are some online-game-stores that sell the US version.
It is available on 7th of march. I already preordered.

I guess there are same services in UK.

Is there likely to be any problem with getting the US version to run on a UK system? As I am also thinking of doing this. The courier shipping doesn't really add all that much cost either.

Play.com in the UK say this will be released on the 21st of March in the UK - which is a few weeks sooner than I expected.

what is the point in have seprate release date for diffrent regions of the world all it dose is incresses piracy ive pre-ordered my uk copy but will download a warz version as soon as i can find one.
