Who says you can''t pilot a big ship???

This is a free discussion forum on Freelancer. This is the place to discuss Freelancer issues NOT covered by the other boards!

I think it's fake: The ship is selected and you can see it in the "object list" at 0 distance(you can't do that) and it's white, which means it is neutral towards you. You can't be neutral to yourself right ?

And not showing the weapond window makes it a little weird.

Or he has altered the .ini files in some way that makes it possible.

0 seconds, since its obviously a fighter clipping thru a freighter. Look at the wings.

It'd be hard to just fly up to a freighter since they're in a trade lane.

Easier way to fake that kind of screenie is to go to first person view with the cockpit disabed and fly behind a big ship

By editing the ship ini file, I replaced the navy light fighter with the luxury liner... it works fine, I got killed in the last pic as I tried to dock into manhattan and it said that they are unable to server ships of this size and I crashed into the planet as the manoverability of that thing is not so good

ships/shiparch.ini, I switched the "ids_name" and "nickname" of the first ship listed there with the luxury liner.

One more thing, how did boscoe get 31 shield batteries and 31 nanobots?

Hmmm, good question my friend...
Is it possible that he might have bought/collected them?

GRR. Every time i edit the shiparch ini to change the values like you said (and many ways you didnt say, too) the game crashes upon trying to launch. Im using that ini unpacker from the downloads section, should I be repacking them somehow??

Nevermind, hold crap I got it.... I can hold 4000 items in cargo hold and probably MORE but thats all I can buy with 1,000,000 LOL

I'll see if I can get some more cool pics posted, I'm gonna fly some heavy transports now.
