Um...its a game... a space sci-fi game...If you want a happy, upbeat trent asking out chicks on dates and stuff, get the Sims Online or one of those Sims games...And one more thing, maybe he is real serious because his friend that owes him a million credits or whatever isnt...paying up and he just got off a station where a bunch of people just died...I'd be pretty bummed out too...But on a second thought Trent is really depressing, and is it just me or is Juni kind of...hitting on him? really thickening up the plot...heh heh heh

It's one of the things that could be in the game but isn't. There would be nothing wrong with the ability to carouse a bit ... perhaps temporarly improve your rep with whatever house the people you are drinking with are part of. (Get some information from a particularly drunk patron ... etc)

Don't get me wrong, I love the game ... I'm gonna purchase it first thing on the 4th. I'm just dreaming of more (Hmmm custom characters, custom Ship markings , etc, etc. ) /me cant wait for mods!

I'm thinking it's the lack of Sidewinder Fangs, yes. In the beginning, he TRIES to get a drink, but there aren't any.

As a result of being unable to get a drink, he kills hundreds of people and slaughters an alien race.
