Your picture is WAAY too big. and yes, you use your mouse.

*If you have a cat and a dog in the same house, will that be a problem? Of course not, you might just have solved world hunger*

*lol* JTCurry5,

I think you missed the point .... he's wondering what the guy in the picture is using to control the ship.
(ie. his hands are resting on the seat armrests.)

My thought is that there are probably some manual control pads on the armrests that work in conjunction with the NeuralNet.

From what I understand, the neural net takes his thoughts and makes the ship do them, acting almost like an appendage. He "moves" his ship up, fires, or whatever, like he would his arm. The player uses the mouse to simulate that.

Stormtrooper Tactics 101: Okay class, repeat after me. "There he is! Blast em!" Very good.

More important: what's with his face? He looks like a freakin' Kilrathi wearing sunglasses.

What can i say. LOL. It looks like a drunk Liberty Police officer heading for a suicide run in the badlands. Hehe.
With Dart Vader as a role model for the face makeup or helmet costume.
Last words: "Snuffle. Hick, where are those pesky pirates? Hick. Groans.... Whats these rocks all about........" KABOOOM!!! One whiskey to much!

Isn't that the model for every pilot in the entire game?

He scares me..

Heheheh, they all control their ships by the Neural Net which is in their helmets...seen here:

No hands needed. Pilots chat, fly and obtain information with a simple thought.

And that's why Trent can make entries into his log in the middle of a mission: he just thinks it and the Neural Net records it.

And just WHAT THE HELL is wrong with THAT?!

Halcyon : I’ve got one more bit of intelligence to pass along to everyone. We believe Bhurak Starkiller may be in the system.
Angel : Bhurak Starkiller, sir?
Halcyon : He’s Kilrah’s hottest pilot in the Salthi light fighter.

Hehe, titbits.
